Sofía Rubio has dedicated more than 10 years to Shiwi, a sustainable startup that harvests Brasil nuts in the Tambopata National Reserve to later sell them as a high value-added product. The important work that Sofía has done with Shiwi has transcended the Peruvian borders and, from Switzerland, our friends from the International Trade Center asked us to travel to Puerto Maldonado and make a short documentary about their entrepreneurship and their vision of conservation.
